This impressive pier mirror is almost 9 feet tall. It is gesso construction and is made in the Rococo revival style. It dates from the 19th century probably between 1855 and the 1880's. It has the original mirror. One of the unique things about this mirror is that it has a Conception Street address in Mobile written on the back where it was delivered. It was shipped from a company in Chicago. It has had some restoration which is the norm for old ornate gesso mirrors of this size. This is a rare opportunity to find a very impressive piece.
